Powerpoint Converter

Sometimes we are in a hurry and need to make a presentation immideatly without the information wheter we need to bring our own laptop/notebook or not. But I assure you that there may be a time that we forgot to bring the laptop with us and there are no laptop to use at the office either.
What do you do if you face the situation? Well of course you will go to client with a thumbdrive / flasdisk filled with powerpoint files and hoping that they had ms office installed in the system so that you can borrow the system to make a presentation

The next question is, what if they install an older system than your files. in example what if they only install MS Office 2003 but you have only Ms Powerpoint 2010 or Ms Powerpoint 2007 files? Or the biggest problem is what if you have ms powerpoint files but they do not install ms office in the system instead of openoffice wich not read all of your files exactly like you read it in Ms Office. You may get a different image format, tables or even text style.

If you face this situation, remember to stay calm. We need to remind you that you represent your office there. You need to look calm and solve their problem, not creating a new problem.

First, you can check their internet connection, they should have it. If so, you can use Google Docs, to convert your files.

Open http://docs.google.com, after log in with your account, you can upload your files in any powerpoint formats like *.ppt (powerpoint 97/2003), *.pptx (powerpoint 2007/2010), *.odp (openoffice impress). Google docs will ask you about the upload seting and preferences. Leave the default setting and click ok to upload.

After the files uploaded completly, you can now download the files as powerpoint, pdf or event text files. In the case that you need a powerpoint or openoffice format, you can select powerpoint format. You can always convert it in pdf or text files in case the system doesnt have openoffice or ms office installed

Now, all we need to say is get a great presentation, and remember you represent your office, so stay calm!
